Hunting an elusive spring roebuck.
Ian Harford travels to the beautiful Hampshire countryside hunting Roebuck, with host Owen Beardsmore of Cervus UK, for what is set to be another memorable outing.
It's just before 9 o'clock... ...The magic half hour. It's now just a matter of sitting down, being patient and waiting.
Ian has been successful on the Hampshire downs in the past, he knows that the Roebuck in this area are very elusive and that patience will be the key to success.
After an evening spent in the high seat, Ian and Owen spotted their Roebuck but light wasn’t on their side and the night sky fell too quickly to get a clear shot at their buck.
Early the next morning, Ian and Owen returned to continue their hunt. Despite being out early, they spent several hours spotting and stalking until they come across their roebuck.
